Atmosphere (2020)

This album was created in a period of deep meditation practice. All the tracks have a slow ambience that align with the place that I was in my life at that time.

Early Demo Sessions (2001)

Back in the late nineties, I worked in a studio. The main engineer and a friend of mine recorded three of my songs that appear on this recording. The other four songs were recorded a few years later when I recieved a songwriting grant for my song Lights Of Montreal.

About

I'm Scott Doyle—I've been working in various capacities as a Music Producer, Engineer, and Musician for over twenty five years. I studied Recording Engineering and Post Production for Film—interned at a studio as an Assistant Engineer before deciding I wanted to persue songwriting and performing rather than working behind a console. I spent the next twenty years performing as a solo artist and in various bands and duos. Over the years, I recorded home demos with limited access to recording equipment. A few years back, I decided to invest in the tools I would need to do proper recordings. Now I record music for the joy of it. I focus on music as an art form and I explore all sorts of different ways to make and manipulate sounds. What I like to create isn't always in typical song format, but more of an experiment in sound. Of course, I do craft songs, but I also really enjoy exploring soundscapes and atmospheres.

I am often seeking out interesting sound design and music projects. I take on every project with a technical understanding and an artistic approach.
